Dubbed Scotland's 'most unusual' stay by the Scotsman, AirShip 002 is a crisp contemporary cabin in one of the remotest areas in the Highlands. With expansive views over the sound of mull, the AirShip offers seclusion in Drimnin on the West Coast of Scotland. Truly AirShip 002 is unlike anything else and is a comfy cosy and quirky place that makes an ideal retreat for two. Designed by Roderick James Architects the interesting and innovative design creates a lovely internal space. Curved glass windows to the east and west frame views of the Isle of Mull, dramatic mountains and the sea. Portholes provide exciting glimpses of the landscape beyond and the little balcony to the side is an idyllic place to eat alfresco when weather permits. Deer, sheep foxes and eagles graze and soar in the fields and woods around the AirShip. A cunning fold away table expands the kitchen-dining space. The kitchen itself is simple but contains all you need for a self catered stay, including an induction ring, combined oven/microwave, induction hob, fridge, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. The comfy queen size four poster bed is positioned next to portholes providing couples with an unforgettable view of stars to fall asleep to. The Although AirShip 002 is a joy to spend time in, the natural surroundings are truly blissful. Encircled by snowy mountains in winter, the private four acre site offers the freedom for couples to explore their immediate surroundings or take dramatic walks through the woodland and hills beyond. A gentle half hour walk walk through the woods takes you to Drimnin and its stone pier from which you can book in advance a foot ferry to Tobermory (Runs once a week).
