This peaceful haven is spacious but welcoming and would be perfect for a large family or group of friends seeking a luxurious home from home in this beautiful part of Portugal.
The hub of the villa is the large open plan kitchen, dining and living area which has vaulted ceilings and huge sliding picture windows offering pretty views of the swimming pool and pine forest beyond. Concrete floors keep the space cool and comfortable and add to the chic modern design. Whilst being of minimalist design the villa has a welcoming warmth created by splashes of colour in the ornaments and soft furnishings which have been lovingly chosen for the space.
The kitchen is fully equipped for creating a feast to be enjoyed at the 10 seater table inside. Or, if you prefer dining alfresco, the sliding picture window next to the table opens up to another long table with bench seating outside in the shade.
The living area is relaxed and cosy with big soft sofas and chairs, faded rugs, low tables and lamps with local art on the walls and those lovely big windows, again, providing light and space all around.
There are four bedrooms, all equally elegant in their décor, retaining a simple charm with luxury linens and pretty reclaimed furniture. Three have queen or king size beds whilst a fourth has twin beds and a bunk bed which is perfect for four children or two adults and two kids. Four ensuite bathrooms mean no one will be queuing in the morning and all have walk-in showers and fluffy towels, with one boasting a very cool square shaped bath.
The villa is named after a local bird, the 'Parus', because they're very beautiful and will often join you for breakfast, making a feast of the berries that grow outside. The outdoor area is very private and has a fabulous swimming pool with salt water and a wooden deck area where you can lounge with a glass of cold wine and take in the view.
