The details

Welcome to Girl Annie, a great cottage for four that’s ideally situated next to the sea.

Step aboard, via a nautical style bridge, and into a welcoming open-plan first floor living room with exposed beams, ‘Victorian’ wood-burning stove and pine floor with rug. The large picture windows offer you fantastic beach and sea-views with glorious sunsets. The kitchen/dining area comes well equipped and is great spot for family meals in together.

Open-sided stairs led to ground floor, where you’ll find a double bedroom with superb sea views and a cosy bunk bed bedroom with single bed and built-in bed that’s great for children. The bathroom includes a shower attachment and toilet, and all ground floor rooms have slate floors with rugs.

As well as being only 200 metres from the beach, the cottage is also near a local inn, award winning Beach Restaurant, Round House Gallery and the attractive little fishing harbour of Sennen Cove, only 10 minutes’ walk across the vast expanse of the sandy Blue Flag beach, which is perfect for swimming, water sports and great for kids with the assurance of the RNLI Lifeguards. If you are lucky, you may even spot dolphins, the odd seal or even a basking shark.

There are dozens of beaches on the Land’s End peninsula and they are amongst the most unpolluted in Europe. They range from safe, sandy family beaches with life guards to wild and rocky coves. The water is clear and jade-coloured; superb for swimming and surfing, and the beaches are ideal for sun bathing.

Beaches vary from sandy to rocky and pebbly, and some have safe and shallow bathing for children, many have nearby shops and cafes catering for family visitors, but it is also easy to find remote and private places.

Rock climbing is popular on the cliffs and headlands. This is superb walking country and great for cycling or mountain biking. Sennen is also a Mecca for surfing with countless options for all levels of ability. There are great Surf Schools and equipment hire close by in Sennen Cove and on the beach.
