Found in a secluded spot between the Lake District and the Scottish border, the Hidden River Cabins are large and luxurious – perfect for getting away to rural Cumbria in style. Make your choice from five incredible log-built lodges in peaceful surroundings, each sleeping between six and ten guests.
On the banks of the River Lyne, these eco-friendly cabins sit comfortably amongst nature. Each cabin is kept cosy with a combination of solar power and a wood-burning stove. The countryside setting makes them the perfect place for pets to unwind too, so it’s a real plus that dogs are welcome at each of the Hidden River Cabins.
All cabins are equipped with a hot tub looking out over the river, and an outdoor seating area for dining and relaxing. You also have access to a sauna during your stay, offering you and your loved ones the chance to rest weary muscles after a day out exploring the local area.
There are three cabins which sleep six: Roe Deer, Otterstone and Kingfisher, which feature two double bedrooms and a sofa-bed. All have that unmistakable log cabin ambience, from the modern bathroom to the fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area, complete with TV and DVD.
Two larger cabins, Bluebell and Foxglove, add a pair of twin rooms to the mix, making them ideal for groups of up to ten. Two of the bedrooms have a TV and these two cabins benefit from the luxury of underfloor heating. If you fancy getting social around a barbecue when the weather is fine, you can rent one for the duration of your stay at any of the cabins.
