Set on the grounds of Monachyle Mhor, a boutique, lochside hotel, sitting amongst mountains in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, you will find a modernist marvel. In The Trees is a unique thee-storey getaway which showcases innovative, award-winning architecture and sumptuous views of the Braes of Balquhidder. It has been carefully and meticulously designed to celebrate innovative style and comfort in equal measure, all the while seamlessly blending in with its majestic and wild surroundings. Sleeping up to four guests across two bedrooms, In The Trees is the perfect bolt hole for those with a firm appreciation for the serenity that nature has to offer. Just don't forget to pack your walking shoes!
Designed by famed architect George Clarke, this Milan design expo award winning, one-of-a-kind stay is comprised of three cabins, one on top of the other. An internal staircase runs through the main artery of the structure, allowing access to all three floors. The interior is sleek, elegant, and minimalist in its design. There are two bedrooms in all: the bunk room has views of the surrounding woodland while the master double bedroom looks through a large feature window and onto the adjacent Loch Voil. What better way to fall asleep than to the sight of starlight shimmering off the water? There is also a contemporary bathroom that's bright and clean with a WC, basin and a large walk-in shower. This is the ideal place for a hot morning soak before setting off to enjoy the day.
As part of your stay you also get breakfast at the Monachyle Mhor hotel restaurant. The restaurant provides exceptional Scottish food, sourced mainly from the farm, or nearby. The chefs pick vegetables, fruit and herbs from the kitchen garden, and forage in all sorts of secret spots. Whilst breakfast is included in your stay, guests at In The Trees can also book lunches and dinners at the restaurant that is at once cosy and charming.
