Samphire Cottage is situated in the renowned village of Stiffkey, a stunning and tranquil location in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, providing immediate access to the coast. Sleeping eight guests, the cottage has been stylishly renovated in a country chic style and is well equipped with French windows looking out onto both east and west gardens.
The welcoming lounge with its wood flooring, neutral colour scheme and sumptuously soft sofas is ideal for evenings of relaxation in front of the wood burning stove while you watch the smart TV or plan your next day’s adventures.
The country kitchen dining area features smart blue units, a butler sink, double range cooker and is chock full of all the modern appliances you need to create delicious meals which you can eat at the eight-seater rustic, wooden dining table. If the weather is warm, fling open the French doors onto the garden and let the fresh Norfolk air in.
The two double bedrooms on the first floor boast a king size and twin beds (which can be arranged as a double if required) and both feature modern Jack & Jill ensuite bathrooms, so no queuing to brush your teeth! Both rooms are light and airy, decorated in warm, natural colours and fabrics with comfy bedding and a relaxed charm. Downstairs you will find a further double bedroom and bunk room which share the same cosy style and have access to a further bathroom.
The garden is fully enclosed and safe for dogs, with plenty of lawn for playing games plus a two verandas (one facing east and one facing west) with outdoor seating where you can sit and sip your evening cocktails and enjoy the peaceful seclusion.
Samphire Cottage is just a short stroll to the village shop and pub and Well-Next-the-sea, Blakeney, Cley and the lovely Georgian town of Holt are a short drive away. The area is excellent for walking and wildlife, a short walk to the coast brings you to the beach with its sandy creeks and to the North Norfolk coastal path which provides miles of picturesque off road walking possibilities. It’s even possible to spot seals at the seal colony by Blakeney point. If culture is more your thing you will find stately homes and museums nearby plus the North Norfolk Railway for a taste of nostalgia.

Immaculate cottage in a perfect location. Spacious, yet cosy and charming. Nice garden for the dogs to run around in and a handy hose to wash them down after a walk on the very nearby marshes/beach. Footpath is literally at the bottom of the garden offering a short walk to the coastal walk or the village. Lovely log burner. Nice veranda to sit out on. Kitchen was well appointed, range worked perfectly. We were only a group of 4, but this large accommodation could easily sleep 8 in two double and two twin rooms. I've stayed in alot of holiday rentals, this is easily in the top 3.
