The details

Tucked away in the heart of the pretty coastal village of Manorbier, Sea Breeze Beach House is a beautifully designed eco studio that offers couples and solo travellers a peaceful, private escape just minutes from the sea. Architect designed and thoughtfully crafted from wood with oak cladding and a living sedum roof, this charming hideaway blends effortlessly into its coastal surroundings, creating a sense of calm from the moment you arrive.

Step inside and you’ll find a light-filled, open-plan space with a simple Scandinavian feel that instantly puts you at ease. Bi-fold doors open wide onto your own private garden and patio, blurring the line between inside and out on sunny days. The studio is perfectly laid out for two, with a comfortable standard double bed dressed in crisp Egyptian cotton, a compact kitchenette for relaxed breakfasts and easy suppers, and a sleek ensuite shower room. For cooler evenings, a wood burner adds warmth and atmosphere, making it a cosy retreat year-round.

One of the real joys of staying here is the garden. Designed with inspiration from Derek Jarman’s famous seaside garden at Dungeness, it has a contemporary coastal feel using shingle, shells and natural materials. It’s south-facing and wonderfully secluded, with sun loungers for lazy afternoons, an outdoor dining area for alfresco meals and, in summer, fruit bushes where guests are welcome to pick raspberries, blueberries and redcurrants for breakfast.

As night falls, Sea Breeze Beach House reveals another magical touch. From the comfort of bed, you can gaze up at the stars through the sky dome in the ceiling, a simple but unforgettable experience that makes evenings feel extra special. With Smart TV, Netflix and WiFi, you can choose between stargazing or settling in for a cosy night indoors.

The location is just as appealing. Manorbier Beach is a six-minute walk away, perfect for early morning swims or sunset strolls. And the amazing Manorbier Castle just a three minute walk away and well worth a visit. The village itself is quiet and unspoilt, with a welcoming local pub, café and village shop all within easy walking distance. Manorbier itself is also a conservation area and is one of the few places in Wales with a European Dark Sky Designation for no light pollution making it ideal for stargazing at night!

You’re also right in the midst of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and situated on the Coast Path, making this an ideal base for exploring dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches and some of the finest coastal scenery in the UK. Tenby, with its colourful harbour, beaches and excellent places to eat, is just a short drive or bus ride away, offering even more to discover during your stay.
