A cosy retreat for two, The Black Hut offers couples a romantic break on the Isle of Jura, in Scotland’s Inner Hebrides. As you approach you’ll be blown away by the incredible surrounding scenery, with views out across the sea. And once you step inside, you’ll love the extremely cosy interior, with its comfy furnishings and wood-burning fireplace. The snug open plan living area features sliding glass doors that not only flood the space with natural light, but also offer you the chance to appreciate the view from the comfort of the sofa. In winter, throw some logs on the fire and get comfy in the armchair as you tuck into a good book. And, come summertime, slide the glass doors open and step out onto your deck where you’ll find your own outdoor bathtub. The bathtub offers a luxurious touch to your stay, as you relax and unwind in the hot water gazing out at the view. Back inside, the cabin has a quaint kitchenette, where you can prepare delicious meals during your stay. And, if you fancy trying your hand at some alfresco meal prep, there’s a pizza oven and a BBQ available for you to use via pre-arrangement. When night falls, there's a communal firepit on-site where you can sit and wrap up warm as you gaze at the starry sky above. You also have access to the on-site telescope which is located at The Shed. Then, when bedtime calls, head in and climb up to the king size bed that sits on a mezzanine above the living space. There’s a skylight here too, so you can look out over the bay from the comfort of your bed or look at the constellations above. There’s also the option to turn the sofa into a bed, for guests who do not wish to climb to the mezzanine level. Guests also have their own ensuite bathroom with a toilet and a hot shower.
