The reception rooms are rich with character – glistening chandeliers, intricate ceiling cornices, antique clocks and local artwork that nods to the region’s heritage. Curl up beside the log burning fire in the plush lounge, choose a favourite from the extensive book and DVD collection, or gather everyone for an evening of board games and wine. Huge sash windows frame views across the park, filling each room with soft natural light and a sense of serenity.
The heart of the home is the spectacular kitchen and dining area – a cook’s dream, complete with marble surfaces, four electric ovens, an induction hob and space to seat 24 guests beneath a dazzling chandelier. The seven ensuite bedrooms are equally impressive, styled in calming hues of blush pink, soft blue and warm neutrals. Two master suites feature super-king size beds and elegant marble bathrooms with freestanding tubs overlooking the park.
