The Grain Store is a beautiful and cosy retreat in rural Leicestershire that was once a working farm silo. It has now been transformed into a delightful countryside stay for two that offers bundles of character and comfy furnishings on the lovely Bonington Farm.
As you enter, you’ll find the main living space a delight. Carefully designed to make the most of the unique circular shape of the building, this space has been lovingly put together with a modern, well-equipped kitchen at one end and a homely living room space at the other, with beautiful sofas to sink into and a log burner keeping you toasty and warm whatever the weather.
The kitchen is a budding chef’s dream, and has all the amenities you’ll need to whip up delicious feasts during your stay. It is kitted out with a fluted Belfast sink, brass hardware and facilities including an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, kettle and toaster. There’s also a rustic round dining table in this space where you can enjoy romantic suppers and hearty meals that stretch long into the night.
Spend your days out exploring the area, or lounging in front of the fire watching a movie on the wall-mounted TV or tucking into a good book. Then, before bed you can have a shower in the modern downstairs bathroom before heading up the winding staircase to the mezzanine bedroom. Here you’ll find a super-comfy king size bed and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer lovely views of the surrounding rolling fields.
