- Pets are welcome but will incur a surcharge of £50.
- Only the guests who are staying at the property are allowed in the property and garden during your stay.
- The minimum stay does depend on whether your trip falls in the peak or off peak season. A week is the shortest stay during the high season, while three day weekends and four days weeks are generally feasible during the rest of the year.

We had a great family stay here over Christmas. The house is amazing, with great views of the sea and a short walk to the beach. The living areas are spacious but also cosy and the bedrooms and bathrooms are first class. Whitstable is a lovely little town and is only a brisk 15 minutes walk along the beach or a quick drive away. The local pub, The Rose in Bloom is friendly and welcoming, although we didn't get a chance to try the food. However, Andrew kindly left us a voucher for Wheelers fish restauarnt and we had a great lunch there - highly recommended as is Samphire, where we had a great Sunday roast. We've stayed in many rentals over the years and many are not that well equipped with the everday essentials that you take for granted at home - that was not the case with Oyster Shell. It was very well equipped with everythin you might need. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a modern but comfortable house close to the town.
