The Roundhouse is a beautifully designed retreat for couples looking for somewhere to relax and unwind amidst stunning surroundings. This luxurious hideaway blends in with the natural landscape which you can enjoy from the outdoor bathtub. Sit back and relax while listening to the sounds of the waterfall flowing into the rooftop pond or head down to the lower level for a session in the sauna. Enjoy romantic evenings in with a fire crackling away in the wood burner, perhaps while you try a few tunes on the grand piano.
The main living space is on the lower level, built into the landscape with the rooftop pond above. A huge rooflight and two sets of double doors out onto the terrace make sure that the space feels bright and airy. The main space is open plan with contemporary furnishings and distinct areas for living, sleeping and dining. A luxurious king size four-poster bed stands in one corner, opposite a beautiful piano. A big comfy sofa is set in front of a stylish wood burner, promising cosy nights in, following a romantic meal at the dining table.
There is a separate kitchen, equipped with everything you’ll need to whip up anything from quick breakfasts to delicious dinners. In the ensuite bathroom, you’ll find a luxurious monsoon shower if you don’t fancy a dip in the beautiful outdoor bathtub overlooking the pond on the upper level. You can access the roundhouse from the top level and relax while soaking up the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Amazing place - perfect for a relaxing stay for a couple of days. Really well equiped all round and first time staying where the kitchen equipment was as good as we have at home (brought our own sabatier knives as often supplied utensils are not as good as we are used to, but here we need not have bothered) - everything in excellent condition. Walked to the nearest pub as recommended and had a great meal there, and cooked ourselves the other night. Wood fired sauna worked easily following the instructions. Everything we had hoped for after seeing the amazing pics on the coolstays site.

First class accommodation and high quality contents. Not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties - steep steps to upper level. We were pleased that there was no radio or television but wouldn't suit everyone.- lovely rural setting, but last bit needed specific directions. Recommend highly. It would be helpful if detailed directions could be sent
