Recently restored with great care, it combines Edwardian character with modern comforts, including a superb hot tub, creating a retreat that’s as practical as it is indulgent. Sleeping up to 10 guests, with space for a few more in the fun-filled games room, it’s an idyllic spot for families and friends to gather and make memories together. Step inside and you’re greeted by an elegant entrance hall with its original tiled floor and sweeping staircase. From here, the house flows into a bright, modern kitchen overlooking the garden, complete with a farmhouse table perfect for lazy breakfasts or lively suppers. The kitchen is nicely equipped with a double Rangemaster cooker, large fridge/freezer, microwave, Sage coffee machine and a dishwasher. The adjoining living room is warm and inviting, with a wood-burner, deep sofas and patio doors that open straight onto the terrace. A separate dining room, with its bay window and second wood burner, is the perfect stage for long, laughter-filled meals. For added convenience, there’s a ground-floor bedroom and shower room - ideal for those who prefer to stay closer to the action without tackling stairs. Upstairs, four more bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements, from zip-and-link beds that adapt to your group’s needs, to a double room with its own ensuite. The family bathroom is a real highlight, featuring a roll-top bath for indulgent soaks and a separate shower for freshening up after a day on the hills. Head to the top floor and you’ll discover the games and cinema room - a haven for younger guests, and anyone who enjoys a big-screen movie, a round of table football, or a late-night board game. Outside, the magic continues. The walled garden feels private and secure, with sweeping rural views as its backdrop. Children and dogs can run safely on the lawn while the grown-ups gather on the terrace, where a pizza oven, fire pit and outdoor dining suite set the stage for alfresco evenings.
