Sitting on the edge of a beautiful 40 acre beech wood, this sleek and modernist treehouse is far removed from the rough childhood constructions of pallets and platforms. Clad in Siberian Larch, this contemporary building is a very grown-up way to enjoy the excitement of sleeping among the trees without compromising comfort or style. The building sits on Corten steel columns and features large mirror glass windows which give guests constant access to the stunning views whether relaxing in the living area, enjoying a well-deserved lie-in, or a glass of wine on the balcony. These uninterrupted, panoramic views stretch 50 miles from the coast to the south east to the Pennines in the south west. And, as Beacon Farm lies on the edge of the Dark Skies Park, those views are equally spectacular whatever the time of the day or night.
The treehouse owners have created a stunning exterior which wows guests on arrival, and the interior is no less impressive. The living, kitchen, and dining area is open plan. The kitchen runs along the back wall and is sleek and minimalistic in style but well-equipped for guests to prepare lovely meals. A beautiful sofa from the Design Centre in London sits on wooden floorboards. A stylish sideboard gives a homely touch and a dining table is positioned thoughtfully facing the windows to maximise enjoyment of the scenery. Visitors can also take advantage of the wonderful outdoor space by enjoying meals on the balcony or at the outdoor dining area which is positioned adjacent to the treehouse and has dining furniture. And, when it's time to hit-the-hay, the bedroom features a king-size bed with a large cosy headboard, crisp linens, a snuggly duvet and woollen blankets. The curtains can be controlled remotely so guests can enjoy the views without even having to leave the warm, cosy bed. The bathroom is decorated in a warming pastel pink with a large electric shower.
