- While having a car isn't essential, it's recommended if you wish to explore the wider area.
- The Bothy is in a nature packed, car-free area. Guests park in the designated area, load up their luggage onto the wagons provided and follow the footpath to the front door. It's all signposted and is only about 250m to the home. This makes it possibly unsuitable for those with mobility issues.
