Here you’ll be surrounded by rolling hills and fields where nature provides an ever-changing canvas to keep you captivated. From livestock wandering the paddocks to astonishing sunsets, your vantage point on the hill not only gives you privacy but also a unique front-row seat to the best view for miles. Your bespoke cabin is handmade by local craftspeople using local materials wherever possible with sustainability and quality to the fore.
The stylish ensuite bathroom offers a large rainfall and handheld shower with a sink bowl which is a bespoke design and hand thrown by a local ceramicist less than a mile away in Modbury. The bathroom has underfloor heating for those chilly winter days and boasts Land and Water toiletries which are made here in the British Isles using natural and ethical ingredients for a luxurious spa-like experience.
In the kitchen you’ll find an induction hob with two rings, a combined oven, microwave, grill and a small fridge plus all the saucepans, kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery and glasses you’ll need to create cosy romantic dinners for two.
Natural and sustainable fabrics are the focus of the sumptuous king sized bed which is topped with a sustainably made and environmentally conscious mattress topper from Naturmat. Made using Devon organic wool and biodegradable materials they will transport you into a deep and comfortable sleep. The bedding is from EarthKind and Dip and Doze, who both use 100% organic and fairtrade cotton materials with an emphasis on quality and sustainability in keeping with the ethos of the cabin.
Outside your cabin is a wood-fired two-person hot tub with jacuzzi bubbles where you can totally relax with a chilled drink while taking in the view or watching out for deer, foxes, birds of prey and hedgehogs. A ceramic BBQ gives you the option to do a bit of alfresco cooking and outdoor hot and cold showers come in useful for washing off sandy feet or dirty paws.
Modbury High Street is only a mile away and has lots of amenities including three pubs, cafes, a farm shop and lots of unique independent shops. Nearby you’ll discover sandy beaches and secluded coves where you can try waterskiing, sailing, surfing, paddle boarding, snorkelling, diving and sea swimming.
