- As an off-grid retreat, turning off devices is recommended. However, low-speed WiFi and mobile reception with 2/4 bars of 3g (Three, 02 and Vodafone network) is available.

The details
The suites at Kabn, with stunning minimalist design, floor to ceiling glass, wood-burning stoves and private beaches, have been exquisitely designed to provide private and luxurious off-grid retreats for two on the shores of Loch Fyne, West Scotland.
There are only two bespoke eco cabins at Kabn, set 100 metres apart, to maximise the privacy, seclusion and tranquillity of the setting. Both have been architecturally designed to immerse guests in the natural surroundings, with high ceilings and floor to ceiling glass. Set amongst trees with wonderful loch views, each cabin is just a few steps from the loch shore with access to their own private beaches.
Step inside your unique cabin and you’ll be met with stylish decor combining Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian contemporary design. Calming neutral tones are paired with premium natural materials and environmentally sustainable products throughout.
The main living space comprises an open plan kitchen and living room with a wood-burning stove - a cosy space to curl up with a book or enjoy the views from the floor to ceiling glass windows and doors.
The kitchen features a small fridge freezer, a two-burner gas hob, sink, breakfast bar/work desk, a V60 coffee maker, hand grinder, and organic coffee. Organic herbs, spices and oils are also provided. For more cooking options there’s an oven insert within the wood-burning stove - perfect for roasting potatoes or vegetables.
Retreat to the separate bedroom area and sink into a sumptuous king-sized bed, with a vegan down duvet, made from recycled bottles in a 100% renewable energy factory and an organic coir, lambswool and recycled denim mattress and mattress topper dressed with sustainably sourced organic cotton sheets. A full ensuite bathroom with shower, hand basin and WC serves the bedroom.
Outside you’ll find a small private terrace with outdoor seating, Green Egg BBQ and an outdoor oven and grill so you can relax with a whisky or cook up a delicious al fresco meal to eat while admiring the stunning loch views.
