Tucked away in its own quarter-acre private garden with a pretty pond and a host of thoughtful and aesthetic details it's a real escape from the bustling world. The cabin would be a perfect retreat for romantic couples looking to unwind in gorgeous surroundings. Orchard View Cabin has recently been awarded a 5-star rating and the prestigious Gold Award for excellence by Visit England.
The Igluhut is a rarity in that each one is individually hand-built and you'll find a plaque inside the door that will give you the name of the person who crafted it. The wooden exterior with its many curved slats gives it an other-worldly appearance both futuristic and utterly organic. The interior is warm, comfortable, practical and very cosy.
There's a king size bed in its own enclosed nook with a convenient shelf for books, phones and chargers. And that first cup of coffee in bed! This is a perfect place to snuggle up in Egyptian cotton bedding and spend a few hours watching Netflix on the flat screen with snacks. With the cabin being fully insulated you'll find that it is perfectly warm on chilly nights and a wonderful hideaway in the winter.
There's a small kitchenette that comes equipped with a hob, integrated fridge with a freezer for your ice, a toaster and of course the all important kettle for the morning pot of tea or cafetiere of coffee. You'll find all the utensils and crockery you'll need for a simple meal but in the summer you'll want to get out into your gorgeous private garden and fire-up the BBQ.
In the morning you can enjoy a long, hot shower in your modern bathroom with its walk-in shower and you'll find complimentary toiletries, a vanity mirror and warm fluffy towels have all been provided.
