- Shangri-La House is dog-friendly and dogs are allowed on Waxham beach all year round.

Surrounded by a large private garden and terrace, the house’s light-filled interiors are simply designed with playful pops of colour. The open plan living area frames wide garden views and features deep leather sofas, Eames dining chairs and reclaimed beach hut cladding. The sleek Scandinavian style kitchen is fully equipped for easy self-catering, with modern appliances from the coffee machine to the dishwasher and ice-cream maker.
A separate TV/games room provides a cosy space for family time or quiet moments. Designed as beautifully as the rest of the house, this cosy den is a modern space designed for fun.
When night falls there are three beautifully styled bedrooms - two kings and one twin. All of the bedrooms offer luxury linens, garden access and calm interiors that guarantee a peaceful night’s sleep. The bathrooms are equally impressive, with high-end fittings, a bold pop of colour, fluffy towels and even stargazing opportunities from the bathtub.

We stayed here with our family and friends as well as our three dogs September 2025. The house is amazing, so warm and inviting. The welcome hamper is very generous and was very much appreciated. If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen is extremely well stocked with utensils, and equipment. The layout of the living area is just so perfect with easy access to the garden. All of the bedrooms are a good size, the beds are super comfortable. We took full advantage of the BBQ area, fire pit and picnic table. Our three dogs absolutely loved this holiday, the 2 mile coastal walk is brilliant, as is Waxham beach which is about 3-5 min walk from the house. We loved the walk to Sea Palling with the dogs and enjoyed a pint or two in the pub, there is also a great fish and chip shop there. For a treat book a meal at Ingham Swan..... You won't be disappointed. We cannot wait to return
