The barn has recently been refurbished, with the open plan living space having a modern, minimalist design. Whitewashed walls combine with deep pops of colour and beautiful mid-century furnishings to create a calming atmosphere in which you can socialise and unwind. Get comfy on the sofa with a glass of wine and catch up with loved ones, or sit in the hammock chair, offering a fantastic spot to get lost in a good book.
The open plan living space is great for staying connected, and features a Danish wood-burning fireplace and underfloor heating to ensure you stay toasty and warm all-year-round. At the far end of this space is the modern kitchen, which is nicely equipped with contemporary appliances that make meal prep a breeze. Includes Pukka tea selection, Climpson coffee beans, grinder, aeropress, french press and drip coffee options. And when dinner is ready, dine on the round mid-century dining table that comfortably seats four.
When it comes to entertainment options, the owners have provided a broad library stocked with wonderful fiction and non-fiction books, and there’s also a number of games at your disposal.
