The details
Set within a beautifully reimagined former agricultural building, this striking eco-loft is a bold, design-led retreat made for memorable stays with friends and family. Industrial textures meet warm, natural materials to create a space that feels both architectural and deeply comfortable, with polished concrete floors, exposed blockwork and soft wood-fibre cladding setting the tone from the moment you arrive. The loft has been thoughtfully laid out to sleep eight to ten guests with ease. Three generous king size beds sit within their own private sleeping pods, each screened with curtains for a sense of seclusion, while a built-in timber box bunk bed offers a cosy hideaway for children or extra guests. A further two single pull-out beds can be added on request in the TV lounge, making the space flexible for larger groups. Upstairs, a relaxed chill-out zone provides a quiet spot to read, unwind or simply take a moment away from the main living areas. At the heart of the loft is the open-plan living and dining space, designed for togetherness. A standout green designer kitchen with stainless-steel worktops is fully equipped for group cooking, while the large dining table invites long, sociable meals that drift into the evening. Designer furniture and carefully chosen lighting give the whole space a cohesive loft-style feel, balancing practicality with real visual impact. Two contemporary shower rooms, one with level access and another with playful yellow feature tiles, keep mornings running smoothly. Step outside and you’ll find two separate terraces with seating, perfect for alfresco breakfasts, evening drinks or firing up the gas BBQ. Beyond, the wider landscape opens out into meandering paths, wildflower meadows and long rural views, with access to a natural swimming pond for brave dips on warm days. The surrounding area offers a slower pace, big skies and plenty of opportunities to explore countryside walks, local food spots and nearby towns, making this eco-loft a brilliant base for both laid-back stays and active escapes.
