The details
The Pod is the latest addition to the stunning Llanfendigaid Estate. Found in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, it couldn’t be better located for a relaxing retreat to rural Wales. The secluded home is just as gorgeous as the surroundings, expertly designed with a modern and sleek aesthetic. Inside you’ll find everything you could need for a wonderful weekend away, including a luxurious double bed, a kitchenette and an ensuite shower room. The Pod has been tailor made for a romantic getaway but also has a small sofa bed, ideal for young children. Guests also have access to a shared indoor pool for the duration of their stay.
The property is set on its own field, surrounded by a well-maintained garden teeming with wild plants and flowers, and shielded from the elements by a boundary wall. It is characterised by its unique curved shape and circular glass doors, which open out onto a private deck - a wonderful spot for dining alfresco, sharing a drink and watching the sunset over the sea and stargazing at night (in one of only 18 Dark Sky Reserves worldwide). Adjacent to the decking is a BBQ area, waiting to be fired up in the warmer months.
You’ll be pleased to know that the inside is just as impressive. Surprisingly spacious and immaculately presented, it’s a truly lovely place to unwind. It boasts a cosy living area with a sofa bed and TV, a well-equipped kitchenette and a comfy double bed with premium bed linen, set it its own cosy enclave. There’s also an ensuite wet room with power shower, washbasin and WC. The Pod can be warmed by central heating in the cooler months and is fitted with ultra-fast broadband so you can keep connected.
For larger groups, please see Llanfendigaid House, Stable Cottage, Dove Cottage, The Cow Shed, and The Shepherd’s Hut which are also located on the estate. They can accommodate up to 36 adults with five cots in total, while dining for up to 36 can be accommodated in The Cow Shed.

The area is a haven for walkers and cyclists, with an extensive network of footpaths and trails that will reward you with jaw-dropping views. Renowned for its thriving harbour community, gorgeous stretch of sandy beach and famous golf club, it’s a great destination that has something for all ages and tastes.
