The Reeds at South Lodge is a marvellous collection of stunning, modern lodges located on an exclusive West Sussex estate. These brand new lodges are located around a beautiful lake and all sleep between two and four people, providing couples with a serene, romantic retreat and small families with an ideal getaway.
There are six lakeside lodges and two spa lodges on offer, all of which have been built using biophilic architectural design, which perfectly connects you with nature. They also use innovative materials and upcycled products that have been locally sourced and naturally derived, ensuring your stay has had a minimal impact on the environment.
Stepping inside, the six lakeside lodges all provide an open plan, double-height living space that is fully glazed providing you with amazing lake views. The lakeside lodges can all sleep up to four guests, with two bedrooms. The first bedroom is upstairs, whilst the second is downstairs, yet both provide super-comfy beds that guarantee a peaceful night’s rest.
Dine alfresco on your terrace overlooking the water before getting comfy on the sofa in the open plan living space in front of the wood-burning fireplace. These lodges also feature outdoor baths for indulgent soaks under the stars, and they also offer a range of other modern features to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.
The two spa lodges sleep two guests, making them ideal for couples. These lodges are set back a small way from the lake and have a comfy bedroom that sits on the top floor offering spectacular views across the water. The spa lodges also feature more space for you to relax and unwind, as well as a fabulous infrared halotherapy sauna for an added touch of luxury! These saunas are designed to engage all of your senses and promote wellbeing, better sleep, detoxification and relief to sore muscles and joints.
When it comes to filling your days, the South Lodge estate facilities are all yours. Within the 93 acres of grounds you'll find three fabulous restaurants and a bar located within the handsome billiards room of the main house. You have access to the award-winning luxury spa, with its state-of-the-art gym and spin studio, indoor pool, outdoor hydrotherapy pool, thermal suite and treatment rooms. And your spa pass doesn't expire until 5pm on the day of departure, so you can extend your stay with a dip in the pool and a massage after check-out. If you decide to venture further afield, the surrounding West Sussex countryside is awash with great walking routes and charming local pubs.
