The details

The Yan at Broadrayne has a lot to shout about. Enviably positioned on a farm in the Lake District, you’re surrounded by rustic stone barns and beautiful countryside views. The seven boutique rooms are all ensuite and all have an elegant high-end finish. The gorgeous on-site Bistro is open for both brekkie and tea and serves up a wonderful array of dishes. And being just a short stroll to the picture-perfect village of Grasmere means there’s no need to amble far to enjoy the delights of this stunning area.

The seven ensuite rooms, sleeping up to four, are all luxuriously appointed with plush carpets, crisp white linen and delightful textiles. With stunning views, large walk-in rain head showers and backlit heated mirrors, you know it’s going to be a joy to stay here! All rooms come with a Smart TV, free WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a choice of super-king and deluxe super-king rooms, with the deluxe offering a more spacious room and large comfortable sofa. Perfect if you’re travelling as a small family or like a little more room to spread out.

There are also two pet-friendly rooms, so your four legged friend can come along and explore the delights of the Lake District with you.

The onsite Bistro is a rather rustic - and utterly chic - gem. Showcasing the best of Cumbria’s fantastic local ingredients, you can enjoy breakfast, sarnies or a full blown dinner complete with fabulous desserts. Serving up rustic Cumbrian classics, nostalgic British favourites and exciting modern dishes in a relaxed environment, it’s a great addition to this wonderful hotel.

Located in the heart of the Lake District means there’s loads to explore. Enjoy a simple stroll to the village of Grasmere (the former home of William Wordsworth) with its gift shops and tearooms, or head further afield to the vibrant towns of Windermere and Keswick. With lakes, fells and plenty of fine dining to discover, there is something for everyone.
